As our furry friends are unable to share with us their ailments, discomforts and minor health problems, an annual medical exam is recommended. It is the only way for your veterinarian to identify an emerging health problem in your animal (dental issues, osteoarthritis, weight problems, heart conditions, etc.). With a more accurate diagnosis, your companion can be treated early, with a much better chance of rapid and complete recovery. Some tests can be carried out in our clinic with state of the art diagnostic devices.
During the annual examination, your veterinarian will do a complete physical examination (eyes, nose, mouth, ears, skin, abdominal palpation, etc.) and may recommend advanced testing (blood test, X-rays, etc.) if needed to pinpoint the condition.
The clinic also offers vaccination services, nutritional advice (ask about our weight loss program!), microchipping, deworming and rapid screening for infectious diseases such as feline leukemia, Lyme disease, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, etc.
Our experienced veterinarians can perform elective surgeries such as castration, ovario-hysterectomy or mass excision. We also offer corrective surgery services such as correction of nostril stenosis, umbilical hernia, entropion, etc.
Our veterinarians can also carry out emergency surgeries for certain conditions: presence of a foreign body, presence of stones in the bladder, urinary blockage, pyometra. Our team is on duty to provide quality, accessible care as quickly as possible.
If during an examination your veterinarian recommends dental prophylaxis for your pet, here is what this could involve:
Dental examination, teeth cleaning and polishing, digital dental X-rays and tooth extractions (if necessary).
Remember that dental care is done under general anesthesia, with close monitoring from our medical team.
We offer digital X-ray services for the diagnosis of some problems such as fractures, suspicion of a foreign body, respiratory issues, heart problems, etc. We also offer X-ray services for confirmation of pregnancy (number of puppies/kittens) as well as X-rays for OFA certification.
We also have digital X-rays during dentistry.
If you want to make sure you are feeding your pet a healthy diet, or if your veterinarian recommends weight loss for your animal, know that we offer a support program for all our customers!
To assess your pet’s nutritional needs and to establish a diet that suits them, the program includes an initial consultation with a technician. Thereafter, monthly follow-ups are carried out in our clinic or by phone with the technician assigned to your animal. An annual fee is required when you register for the program and no additional fees are charged for monthly follow-ups unless changes that incur additional costs need to be made to the diet (adding supplements for example).
We offer advisory services to help you make the best possible decision when the time has come to let your animal go. Once the decision is made, it is possible to carry out euthanasia in our clinic or in the comfort of your home* by appointment only. We want to accompany you and your little one with gentleness, calmness and respect.
We can also provide an urn, paw prints or any other commemorative product you wish for your friend. Don’t hesitate to contact our technicians for more information on procedure and prices.
*Availability for at-home euthanasia is limited and varies weekly.
Emergency consultations can be carried out at our clinic during our opening hours. Please call us before showing up.
If you have an emergency with your pet outside of the clinic’s hours, we strongly recommend you go to a veterinary emergency centre such as DMVET, CVRS or CHUV (See reference section for details).
Please note that there will be a cancellation fee for any missed or canceled appointments within 4 business hours and for any surgery canceled within 48 business hours.
